LOOK ON THE BRIGHTON SIDE

Brighton Pride looks set to be a huge furore on the gay calendar yet again, one that you’d be sorry to miss! And with all the great events and fun of the weekend, we here at QX decided to have a quick overview of some of the park’s best attractions. And don’t forget that this year, to assist with the immense costs involved in staging an event on this scale, entry to the park is ticketed, so log on to www.brightonpride.org and get yours now!

ALEXANDRA BURKE AND JOE McELDERRY TO PERFORM!

Not one, but TWO X Factor winners take to the stage on the big day to perform. Heading the bill is chart topper Alexandra Burke, who will be bringing her inimitable R&B dance sound to the Pride Live stage on August 13th.

Joining her on the main stage is X Factor’s Joe McElderry! Everyone’s very excited that Popstar to Operastar finalist Joe has been booked to perform on this year’s Live Stage at the Pride 2011 event in Preston Park on Saturday August 13th.

Pride’s chair, Russell Allen, says today: “The Live Stage is brand new to the Park Event and we’re thrilled that Joe will be launching this exciting addition to the main Park offering”.
