What was the first gay venue you ever went to?
The Club in Stoke-on-Trent.
What was the first club you ever worked at and how was it?
Dalston Superstore with Borja Pêna, it was so much fun! I felt very free.
What has been the highlight of our career so far?
Being crowned Miss GutterSlut 2011 at last year’s GutterBall.
What has been your worst club moment ever?
There isn’t one. I can’t remember the bad moments.
Who are the world’s best DJs?
No idea… I’m sure it’s not the most famous ones. Probably some kid from Japan in an underground club in Berlin.
Who is your favourite cabaret performer and why?
I love Bourgeois and Maurice. They are the cleverest and funniest performers.
What makes the London scene so special for you?
It’s so diverse and fun. The best places attempt, and sometimes succeed, to not be snobby. I’m all about being inclusive rather than exclusive.
And what is the worst thing about the gay scene in general?
Hierarchy and snobbery… you’re not ‘better’ or more deserving because you spent longer getting ready.
And what is your favourite international city?
I really like Barcelona.

How are you STILL dancing in those heels?
If you were a cocktail, what would be your ingredients?
Vodka, absinth, vodka, gin and Prosecco … and Vodka
