LOVE IS IN THE AIR!

‘East London Love In’ is a World AIDS Day event in support of MTV Staying Alive Foundation! Host Jonny Woo reveals all…

The movers, shakers and party monsters of East London come together to spread the love this World Aids Day in support of the MTV Staying Alive Foundation. The foundation is uniquely placed to create broadcast material to reach young audiences globally to educate and prevent young people from contracting HIV. Also funding grassroots projects around the world, working with young people on the ground, they are aiming for a generation free from HIV.

Now the East London massive LOVE to party but despite the wigs being on backwards, our heads are screwed firmly on the right way and with MTV we are giving you the party of the year where you can get twisted East London style and show your support for such brilliant global ambitions.

In the main room, The House Of Trip, SOS snuggle up to Batty Bass. Jim Warboy spins alongside Joe Robots with PA from K TRON. Plastic Boy performs, Twisted Dance Company do just that and, of course, mega artiste Scottee gives major love as only he knows how. Batty Bass’ Hannah Holland not only mixes but debuts Hannah Holland Live featuring Mama and Black Gold Buffalo. Josh Caffe gets naughty and Dan Beaumont and Hot Boy Dancing Spot’s Lovely Jonjo do it back-to-back. Wearing condoms of course. LDNFAM will be throwing shapes everywhere. If this aint enough Zebra Katz are doing a special PA. AMAZEBALLS… did I just write that?

Upstairs in the Dragadelia room Gay Bingo and Sink The Pink have a cross dressing oral orgy. Dental dams supplied. Jonny Woo, that’d be me, will be spinning around in a kaftan whilst Ma Butcher gets piggy, but don’t expect her to penetrate. Holestar adds some fanny to the tranny and her and me might even sing our new single (penned by Warboy). Glyn and Amy from Sink Da Pink scmooze on in to finger the we hours of the party, and if Jaqui Potato and JonBenet aren’t there then I’ll have some thing to say.

To plug it up from the rear in the Children of Love Room, Mark Asley Dupé hosts Dupé’s Den. These kids will go wild. Frankie Layo, Maximus Crown and Destiny Maglorie will be all be working it on the decks with a live PA from Wavy Spice.

PRICKIMAGE will be visualising for us all night long and MTV will be filming, too, so get down to get yourself some international broadcast situation. Did I mention Mr James Baillie will be slamming down some moves for dollar bills, too?

EDUCATE – INSPIRE – SAVE LIVES.

• ‘East London Love In’ is at The Garage (20-22 Highbury Corner, N1 5RD) on Saturday 1st December, 11pm–6am.
