Are You Looking For a Nasty Boy?

Vogue Fabrics has a new, scintillating night in town, Straight Nasty, which looks set to revolutionise your weekend and bring a new lease of dancefloor-pumping life to Dalston’s nightlife. When the press release landed in our inbox QX just had to find out more about the event!

Who is Straight Nasty?
Straight Nasty is the love child of superstar DJ duo TR!NNY & $U$ANNAH (aka Ned Alderwick and Henry Petrides).

Why is Straight Nasty different from the other nights out there?
Straight Nasty is the unapologetic pop party for sissy boys and sassy girls, playing shameless pop anthems as an antidote to the po-faced house music you pretend to enjoy most other weekends. The gays of East London often like to pretend that 2003 never happened, but Straight Nasty won’t be shying away from noughties nostalgia! From Holly Valance to Nicki Minaj, Geri Halliwell to J Lo, we’re serving a perfect selection of grimy and gorgeous pop that you can really sink your tits into…

What kind of person will be on the dancefloor to your music?
We’ve tweeted all the designers from Changing Rooms to see if they’ll come, so hopefully we’ll bag one of them. But otherwise you can expect a gaggle of gyrating hustlers unafraid to sweat it out to Emma Bunton’s Maybe.

Who are going to be the DJ sets?
TR!NNY & $U$ANNAH (Slagbox, Debbie), SHY CHARLES (Best City Fashion), JE M’APPELLE ROCHELLE & GG BEAR.

And finally, what should we wear?!
As the real Trinny and Susannah would say, it’s simply a matter of knowing what not to wear. Just keep it cute.

• Straight Nasty launches at Vogue Fabrics (66 Stoke Newington Road, Dalston, N16 7XB) on Saturday 28th February, 10pm-3am.
• Free before 11 / £5 after. £3 guestlist available at facebook.com/straightnastyclub
