The R & She hunnies are moving house!

Popular queer hip-hop night R & She are SO popular, that they have to keep moving to bigger venues to accommodate the fabulous throngs of cargo-pants-wearing, Lil-Kim-emulating, rum-and-coke-swilling creatures of the night that turn up (and get turned UP) every month! Amaze! Being too crowded is ALWAYS a good sign for a club night, and it’s no surprise that R & She are the latest to be befallen by this agreeable affliction.

They’ve been up and coming scene SUPERSTARS over the last few months, with meteoric online and word-of-mouth traction! Yes! Of course it helps that the playlist is major, the DJs are all totes gorgeous with cheeky grins and killer fashun, and the crowd are LIVE. ING. We went to their birthday party a couple of months back, and the place was more lit than Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat!
Another personal highlight for us was that absolutely bloody fierce Brandy poster they had recently. Colours. Looks. Aesthetics. All the yeses.

So YES, they’ve upped sticks and can now be permanently found at Old Street den of inequity, Trapeze! It’s a great fir for R & She. It’s got a high ceiling and electricity, which is more than most of our flats have. It’s also got lovely décor – PROPER urban chic. Not a flock wallpaper in sight.
So, whether you’re a Beyonce babe or a Soniq slut, pop on a bandana and get down to R & She! Don’t come if you like Taylor Swift though. Just don’t.

• The next R & She is on Saturday 30th July.
• Trapeze, 89 Great Eastern Street, EC2A 3HX. 10pm – 3:30am. £4 before 11pm, £8 after.
