Christeene! at The Soho Theatre

CHRISTEENE is exactly what the world needs right now. In today’s society, we’re plagued by conventions, by sticking to boundaries, following rules, snubbing originiality. It seems every new film in the cinema is a remake, every new song is a cover, every new restaurant is a Pizza Express.

Well, CHRISTEENE will shit all over your dough balls and piss in your garlic butter. Instead of seeing a Marvel movie at the cinema, she’ll go to Spiderman’s house and rim him over the coffee table while Kirsten Dunst looked on in horror.

She sheds convention with an unapologetic oblivion that shows she may never even have known what convention was. In sad post-brexit world of Strictly Come Dancing and Samsung Galaxies,  she’s the writhing, roiling, gurning, mud-smeared antidote.

After one of the worst years of the decade, it’s time to shrug off constraints imposed by rich developers, tax collectors, politicans. She’s descending on The Soho Theatre with TRIGGER. A shocking, raw spectacle of filth and fantasy.

So, that’s really all you need to know. Cancel everything and get down there. That’s certainly what we’re going to do.

• CHRISTEENE: TRIGGER is at The Soho Theatre from Friday 2nd – Saturday 17th September. 9:30pm. £10 – £20. 21 Dean Street, Soho, W1D 3NE.
