I quite often dream about what I’m going to wear the next day or what I’m going to wear for a night out, do you? I thought I might have got bored of it by now but I realize I’m obsessed by putting my best foot forward and I’m obsessed by what look you might be working as well…now that’s really exciting! Any excuse really.
This week it’s all about the shows (well with a bit of clubbing thrown in!) how about a trip to Lipstuck: An evening of performance at The Glory on Thursday 6th, with international diva Xnthony who will be performing and hosting an evening with special guests Daniel De La Motte, James Morgan and Bourgeoisie on stage from 8pm.
Over at Her Upstairs in Camden, it’s The New New Show! hosted by Herr on Thursday April 6th. Young Herr loves to turn it out, she really pulls off some great looks I must say. For this night, Herr is introducing us to all the new talented performers out there such as Cilly Black and Hermione. Free to get in, shows from 9pm.
Oh, here’s someone I haven’t seen for a while, perhaps it’s because Naommon has been preparing a new show… Songs of Impossible Romance and Eternal Whoredom, taking place on Friday 7th April at The Barge House, 46a De Beauvoir Crescent, N1. Naommon will be singing torch songs in the Weimar cabaret tradition accompanied by pianist Gi from 9pm. naommon.com
It’s always a jolly time at Dalston Superstore! On Saturday April 8th it’s the turn of Discosodoma, who celebrate 3 years of their fun parties. Join DJs, residents and guests Discodromo, Maria Politi and Stathis, plus bar fun from Jaymo, Diet Clinic, Sanjay Sur and Nic Fischer. 9pm – 5am.
