While everything’s geared up for all things festive let us not forget (as if we would) all things Bananarama! Yes, if you haven’t seen them yet, now is the time! UK tour ends of December 9th. Hold on, when’s Kylie’s Christmas spectacular? I love a bit of pop so bear with me while I check…meanwhile, NIGHT SHEEN, a musical project and now a basement rave, is on Friday 1st December with DJs Johnny Aux, Jacob Meehan and Josh Caffe at The Castle, 44 Commercial Road E1. Set to get your pulses racing! From 10pm till 3am.

I’ll be DJing up at BUM.P at Dalston Superstore Friday 1st Dec. BUM.P are celebrating their 2nd birthday, so join us for an unforgettable evening with DJs Charles Jeffrey, Pussy Mafia, Jacqui Potato and Mark-Ashley Dupé. There’s performances from Finn Love and The Phoenix – oooh my faves!

Back to a bit more pop, where Mariah & Friendz: The Christmas Ball(s) at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club is on, on Saturday Dec 2nd. Expect quite a ‘do’ with Baby Lame, Crystal Beth, Sheesus and the Sistas, Frieda Slaves and more, all inspired by pop diva Mariah. With GSOH DJing till 2am.

These lovely lot at Bingobabes are celebrating with Barbs’ Birfday Special! on Sunday 3rd December at The Glory. They are actually holding a bingo session with lots of interactive drag action from 7pm onwards. There are so many things going on at The Glory so go to theglory.co for full listings!

The other week, I popped into the Retro Bar my fave in-town local and witnessed Myra Dubois doing the quiz…but hold, on the effervescent Mz Dubois never rests and the latest is  Ey-Up, Myra – A Christmas Spectacular! on Monday 4th December at The Grand in Clapham.

Talking of quizzes (they’re all the rage!) it’s mid-week Quiz Me Maybe on Wednesday Dec 6th at the Dalston Superstore hosted by ShayShay and Just May. From 7pm to 9pm, discuss all things ‘Decembush’ and win prizes.

Christmas list of sights to see; I’ll be DJing instore at Selfridges from Thursday 30th November, 6pm till 9pm lols! Go and see artist John Booth’s fab Christmas tree signature ceramic decorations at the London Edition. You can buy them too at houseofvoltaire.org, with all proceeds go to the Albert Kennedy Trust.

Fashion designer and artist Charles Jeffrey’s immersive solo show The Come Up is on from now until the 11th February 2018 at the NOW Gallery, where he explores the fusion of fashion, art and nightlife!

More Christmas decor at Hoi Polloi, (the fab restaurant by the Ace Hotel, 100 Shoreditch High Street) where fashion designer Matty Boven has gone and done a tree…then have dinner and feel festive.
