After two years in Madrid & Barcelona as one of the most successful gay parties in Spain, TANGA! begins its European tour in London, on March 11th at THE CLAPHAM GRAND (21-25 St John’s Hill) from 5:00 p.m. till 12:00 p.m.
TANGA PARTY ON TOUR promises to bring the best of the TANGA! parties to London, Amsterdam, Budapest, Paris and Ibiza. It’s taking inspiration from pop culture and the 90s, with skits and shows, gogo dancers and their famous TANGA BOYS.
In the past, TANGA have played host to iconically camp acts like The Vengaboys, Whigfield and Loreen. HRRNNNK!
TANGA! Party On Tour is bringing something different to the UK, led by their star DJ, DJ Mata, spinning pop hits!
“Exporting a party like TANGA! that really works in Spain, to other cities in Europe is a huge challenge and we feel a great responsibility in this regard,” says Ferrán Poca, partner and co-founder of LOCAMENTE, the organizing company. “Since TANGA! was born, many Londoners have told us they want to enjoy TANGA! in their own city, and we’ve finally made that a reality.”
“In TANGA!, we want to escape prejudices or stereotypes,” says David Marcos, co-founder of Locamente. “We’re interested in the essence of the party, the surprise, the madness. We’re inspired by the world of pop music, to connect with the public, mixing shows and animation with romantic hits. We don’t like labels, so all kind of gays tribes and friends from all kind are welcome at our parties. The more variety the better!”
