Seems like there’s something to do every night of the week and indeed there is! You inventive lot are always making me want to go out and about, and witness first hand these fantastic events!

This week it’s Gender Fvcker: Grand Finale! on Friday July 20th at a place called Redon, which is at 289 Railway Arches, Cambridge Heath Road, 7pm – 1am. This very underground performance competition embraces all kinds of drag, and is hosted by Katy Jalili aka Cool Dad. Plus there’s a special performance from The Night Bus celebrating the title of Mx Gender Fvcker 2018!

Meanwhile, a regular East London monthly sees Horse Meat Disco mixing it up with  WUT? CLUB & Poof Doof this Friday 20th at Hangar in London Fields. Join a warehouse explosion till 3am, it’s an absolute hoot!

Homo Superior presents HOMO Vauxhall on Friday 20th July at The Eagle 10pm till 4am. A gay pop dance night with a difference plus a special performance from drag star Margo Marshall.

It’s an inventive start to Saturday 21st with CAMPerVAN Confessions, which starts at 3pm and goes on until 9pm. Discussions, performances and reading from LGBTQ artists, creators and professionals who get on the mobile CAMPerVAN stage, which will be parked up at the Deviant & Dandy Brewery in Hackney Central.

I can never get enough of A Man To Pet tbh…Pet’s EXTRA BOYS on 21st July at Dalston Superstore 9pm till 3am is always top of my list of things to do, places to go, people to see list. Join DJs Pet Piss, Nic Fischer, Terry Vietheer, Jeffrey Hinton and Trenton Chase.

Cult night Adonis is back on the 21st July at The Cause, Ashley House, Tottenham Hale from 10pm till 6am. Join a ‘homo sweatbox’ rave up and feel the pulsating dance vibz DJ’s Gideon, Andy Blake, Grace Sands, Shay Malt, Nick G and special guest Gene Hunt! play techno, house and acid over two rooms.

As part of the Aids History & Culture Festival 2018 on Sunday 22nd Bridges: Inside Out Cruising at The Glory 5pm-7pm, is where an evening of enlightenment is planned. Dr Richard Maquire will be starting off with musings on filmmaker Derek Jarman for the ‘outside’ theme of the event. The 2nd part invites DJ and archivist Jeffrey Hinton to celebrate ‘inside’ cruising themes and look at club life from his unique perspective.

Then at The Glory that evening of the 22nd, I’ll be doing Princess Julia Loves… till 11pm on the ground floor with a special guest performing during the evening. It’s always fun and casual then later if you fancy it there’s time for a jaunt to Dalston Superstore till 1am if you’re staying East, or the fabulous weekly Horse Meat Disco, which stays open till 3am.

Finally MYRA – Artiste, Woman, Muse it’s an exhibition and private view at The Retro Bar Gallery on Monday 23rd from 7pm tracing all things Myra DuBois over her 10 year career. A homage to a drag legend with paintings and installation inspired happenings.
