This week, as if you didn’t know, it’s all things Halloween… yeah, any excuse to dress up, go out and show off!

Although BOiBOX are not doing Halloween as such, they are settling in to their new home at The Glory this Thursday 25th with a ‘legendary’ theme. From 7:30pm – 11:30pm, Adam All & Apple Derrieres host an evening full of entertainment from the drag king scene. Join Don One, Elf Lyons, LoUis CYfer and Wesley Dykes as they take to the stage showcasing their diverse talents!

Oh gawd but oh lols…Satanic Singathon – it’s Hallowe’en Karaoke with Oberon White on Friday 26th at the Karaoke Hole from 8pm till 3am. We love Oberon, whose charisma and charm will scare the living daylights out of you! To book a table in advance, go to thekaraokehole.com

This Friday 26th October, I’m heading to The Cock Tavern over in Kennington Road to DJ at Disco Halloween Hit Machine, where I join Josh Quinton and DJ all night long 8pm till 3am!

More parties on Friday 26th. Mariah & Friendz: Screamlover! at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club from 9pm till 2am has all your fave ‘Mariah scary’s’…Baby Lame, Crystal Beth, Aurora Galore, Ruby Wednesday, Freida Slaves, Danny Ash and Lady Noella.

Then there’s WIMP Halloween at The Yard in Hackney Wick on 26th October. Join DJ and performance action from ArtSchool, Lewis Burton, Nice Mover, Kat Hudson and Joey Fourr. With hosts Rhys’ Pieces, Miss Hernia, Eva Wonder, Emily After and The Knobnose from 10pm till 3am.

Get into Halloween Lobotomy Room Dance Party  on Friday 26th at Fontaine’s where from 10pm till 1:30am, the Halloween vibe is creepy, kooky and sleazy! Plus electric guitar duo Sparkling Duet play a live set of apt atmospheric Halloween howlers and Trixie Malicious will also be performing a showgirl inspired routine. Free to get in too!

Back with a bang! meat do The Glory takeover, Halloween Edition on the Friday 26th. Yes dears join The Meat Boys and A Man To Pet and John Sizzle for a full on night from 10pm till 3am.

Over at the Eagle on Saturday 27th it’s SOS – Noche De Los Muertos at the Eagle on Saturday 27th. Roy Inc hosts this monthly night, and tonight you could win a £500 cash prize for the best Halloween costume! OMG! The resident DJ’s Terry T-Rex and Jeanie Crystal play the soothing soul sounds from 9pm till 4am.

Back to The Glory for a weekend of it! Bitchcraft – The Sorceress Ball on Saturday 27th and I am living there, ha ha ha!!!! Crystal Lubrikant, Tracy Barlow and myself Princess Julia start the evening off, then once the basement Glory Hole opens Stella Meltdown and Baby Lame carry on with a  ‘drag-a-thon of flesh crawling shows’ and howling pop hits till 3am. 

We love this one…Cybil’s Halloween House 3! And it’s on Saturday 27th at the White Swan on Commercial Road. Shows from Rhys’ Pieces, Tracy Barlow, Mary Poppers and Bimini. Hosted by the beyond Cybil War from 10 till 3am. *Please note you need to bring ID to this one.

Anyone up for a gay rave? Then Chapter 10 celebrate their 5th Birthday on Saturday 27th. Wear what you want, dance how you want… let yourself go from 11pm till 7am at Bloc. 39 Autumn Street, E3.   

Listen I told you I was living at The Glory and this Sunday 28th I’m doing another Princess Julia Loves… Halloween with special guest Camilleon who adores this time of year! We start the evening at 7 till 11pm with spooktastic shows and stuff!

Then on Tuesday 30th, I’ll be hosting The Retro Bar’s quiz night Carry On Quizzing from 8pm! We’ll be having a Halloween themed quiz of course!!!!

On the actual Halloween Wednesday 31st from 7:30pm, join Fagulous who presents Gayeance: A Summoning of Dead Divas at The Glory. A showcase evening with special guests Helen Sheals, Mzz Kimberley and Sister Fibrosis.

For something completely different, check in to Truth to Power Café which will take place at The Roundhouse on Tuesday 30th and 31st October at 7:30pm. Creator and host Jeremy Goldstein poses the question ‘Who has the power over you?’ and invites guests to express themselves ‘intercut with performance, film, music and memoir rising up in the name of free speech and political activism.’
