Soon we’ll be settling in for a festive shutdown and a bit of a reminisce about 2018 – the highlights and the meaningful memories of a year full of surprises. It’s been a rollercoaster of a year with some ups and downs, that’s for sure.
Here in clubland, we head out to Dalston Superstore on Thursday 13th December for Happy Endings: Office Party. Tbh I’m not sure what it is or who is DJing but it starts at 9pm and goes on till late! Nothing like a cryptic night out is there?! LOL!
Well I’ll be joining Stell’s Bell’s – A Christmas Meltdown Party on Friday Dec 14th at The Glory. This where the Christmas vibe finally arrives with Stella Meltdown ruling the proceedings with Cassandra, Barbs and Dick Day… plus me and Jacqui Potato playing music upstairs and down till 3am.
On more late night pub news, feel the love at Twisted Disco on Friday 14th at The Queen Adelaide basement, presented by Robert Leach and William Craven who will be hosting and DJing from 10 till 3am.
Lots of shows going on, as the stars of The Glory branch out…Have a Faggy Christmas at the Roundhouse over in Camden Town on Saturday 15th with Fagulous, who presents a festive showcase with drag performer Tracy Barlow and comedian James Barr.
Vogue dancing and everything – this is the real deal! The Slay Bell Vogue Ball 2018 on Saturday 15th at Limehouse Town Hall from 8pm till 3am. Kartel Garçon from the International House of Comme des Garçon presents the 2nd annual Slay Bell Vogue Ball and afterparty! Majorness with legendary judges such as Kendrick Mugler and Wolkoff Mizrahi, commentators The Icon Mother, Kelly Mizrahi and UK Father Jay Jay Revlon. DJing from the icon Vjuan Allure. Walk-off categories galore…the energy levels hit the roof at this beyond night!
Hello, Savage! Every Saturday down at the Metropolis strip bar on Cambridge Heath Road where we usually end up on Saturday night with the best of them…tip top all star DJ’s and dancers! On Saturday 15th December, I’ll be DJing for a wonderful banging session till 5am! OMG!
It’s all going on isn’t it…Kaos is back presenting DJ Kris Baha at Electrowerkz on Saturday 15th December! From 11.30pm to 7am all night long, Kris Baha brings over 7 hours of sonic bending dancefloor amazingness!
Well if you’re up in time, roll in for ShayShay’s Breakfast in Bed on Sunday December 16th at Dalston Superstore, midday – 4pm. ShayShay hosts this now legendary brunch experience so catch one of the last brunches before Christmas!
I more or less live at The Glory on Sundays thanks to John Sizzle! Princess Julia LOVES is on Sunday 16th from 6pm with my special guest Kevin le Grand who is obviously one of my fave artistes on our scene! Come and join me for the evening loves it’s going to be a good one! Last time Le Grand performed Beth Ditto turned up for an impromptu duet so who knows what going to happen this week!
We’re all looking forward to Jonny Woo’s All Star Brexit Cabaret at The Coliesum, ENO on Monday 17th. OMG West End premier with special guests including Jayde Adams, Le Gateau Chocolat and Myra Dubois. ‘A musical folly on a subject we ALL have an opinion on’. Show starts 7:30pm. We are always super inspired by David Hoyle, who brings this one off showcase starring Travis Alabanza, Horrara Shebag and Mark Cox aka Organ Boy on his organ, er I mean piano! Finally this week catch Baby Lame’s Shit Show – XXXmas Special! On Wednesday 19th December at The Glory. Major fun with Baby Lame and special guests from 8pm including Missa Blue, Gary Starr, Lady Noelia and Danny Ash.
