At this time of year, it’s perhaps a time to get all reflective as we head into 2019. There’s more than a few highlights and I wonder what our fave moments will be in hindsight. See how I’ve evaded anything negative from 2018 haha! But let’s not dwell on all that bollocks and let us plan the week ahead…
For those of you heading back into London, you must be desperate for Princess Julia’s New Year Karaoke Awards Ceremony at The Karaoke Hole on Thursday 27th December. I’ve got Just May helping me as we belt out all the hits and award you with the crème-de-la-crème of awards from 9pm ‘til 2am! Blimey, and if you can’t get enough of a therapeutic sing-off, head to The K LIST: Absolutely Fu*ked on Friday 28th. There’s more Karaoke madness with Bimini and Barbs who head up The Karaoke Hole ‘til 3am!
Up the road at the Dalston Superstore on 28th December, get your pre NY feels at Zodiac Hotline a ‘see ya 2018 special’. Love the concept of this ‘gay celestial coordinate system get together…’ With DJs till 3am over two floors; Sugarbear, Shay Malt, Chris Ray Murdock b2b with Matthew Josephs, Cozette and I’ll be DJing a bit too. If you’re lucky I’ll read your tarot along with fellow pyshic Camiléleon.
Over at Bender! taking place at the Eagle on Friday 28th December from 9pm ‘til 4am, catch Guy Ruben and Chester Hayes on the DJ decks for this new weekly night. Hosted by our lovely Juniper. Expect a maje dance off of pumping beats!

Feel like a brunch special then Freaky Sunday brunch at the Dalston Superstore on 30th December, midday – 4pm will be your cup of tea with Just May and ShayShay…they’re going insane as you wonder what to do when the clock strikes 12 lols!
I’m going to entertain you in the evening of Sunday 30th with Princess Julia Loves…at The Glory, my home from home from 7pm ‘til 11pm. I may be advising you on where to spend your NYE or I may be taking tips from you just in case I miss something out! Some of my top picks for NYE this year include New Year’s Eve at The Cock Tavern from 8pm till 3am. They will be serving endless canapés, unlimited booze and drag from DJ Borja Peña and resident DJ David. Cabaret from Herr from 8pm.
Then if you’re in town, there’s the Retro NYE 2018 from 2pm till 2am! They’ve got DJ Kat Hudson in the upstairs bar. Get a wristband from the bar, which will allow you to pass through The Retro Bar’s famous alley for this free party!
Up at Dalston Superstore it’s the Homostash NYE – All Stars Edition! All your faves till 5am including DJ’s Carly Foxxx, Fannar, Anahita Shamsael and Fidel. Dancers and performers Jay Carrington, Danny Campbell-Fox and Alejandro Gocast.
I had a brilliant time DJing the main floor at Savage the other week so Savage NYE is going to be maje! Opening at 9pm and going on all night DJ’s include Joshua James, Guy Williams, Michelle Manetti, Bende, Nimmo and Tasty Tim! Hosts and dancers Maxi More, Margo Marshall, Grace Shush, Lucy Fizz, Finn Love, Juniper and Asstina Mandella!
After all that carry on from 8am when Adonis ALL DAY New Years Day on Tuesday 1st is at The Cause in Tottenham Hale till 10pm! OMG I think I’ve lost track of time lols…phenom DJ line up… Honey Soundsystem, DEBONAIR, Gideön, Wes Baggaley, Grace Sands, Super Drama, Hifi Sean the list goes on and on! Shay Malt tells me there’s even a darkroom for you decadent lot, plus surprise special guests! I’m dead!
So basically, all yer faves are having a NYE knees up…next week I’ll be preparing for London Menswear fashion week! And you know what that means – more parties and events to kick off 2019!
