27/08/11: It has been far too long since we headed out west to the Windsor Castle, so we remedied that on Saturday night and rocked up for the start of their charity weekend. As we pressed our way through the room, our eyes were strangely drawn upwards and came to rest on a quintet of cute young gogo boys atop the bar clad only in skin-tight pants.
Dragging ourselves away we were next accosted by yet more skimpily clad boys this time bearing shots which we sadly had to decline as we had a date with a motorbike later that evening.
Cabaret acts were rotating throughout the night including singers Saski and Becky Payne, the fabulous Band With No Name and drag darling Tanya Hyde. Guvnor and master of ceremonies Steve kept the evening rolling while DJ Nick JT kept the club sounds coming between acts.
The whole weekend was a huge success and saw the community turn out in force to raise money for cabaret star Annie Dee who has been off the circuit for a year caring for her terminally ill husband. Annie we wish you and your man heaps of love and hope the generosity of the Hounslow massive helps you both have a much-deserved holiday.
