Bloc Bar

08/08/2015: BLOC BAR TIME AGAIN. It’s our new favourite. Get on the tube to Camden (or wake up there after the night before) and have a lovely little libation at the city’s newest, hottest homosexual haunt. It’s all happened so fast!

This time last month it was just a nothingy little unassuming venue behind Sainsburys, then BOOM. There’s a ten-foot-high rainbow flag, the Sugababes is blasting out, Tasty Tim’s outside cackling away with an E-cigarette, and that’s that. The way it’s just sort of unapologetically death-dropped into Camden is fabulous. COME ON CAMDEN. COME ON BLOC BAR. COME ON SEASON SIX *death drops*. It’s now entering its third week and Saturday was, as always, a right blast! The bar men were cute, the music was on point, and the black toilet tiles were glimmering with a lovely glossy sheen. I decided to have several double vodka diet cokes. I remember talking to someone’s dog. They allow dogs in Bloc Bar (no Baga Chipz, I’m not talking about you). Then I had more double vodka diet cokes, and met a man who had a car and looked a bit like a slightly younger Idris Elba. Then I woke up in Fitzrovia. That’s just what happens when you go to Bloc Bar. How lovely. *sips tea*
