03/10/15: Giving the LGBT community in Camden a new lease of life, Bloc Bar has sprung to life and only 30 seconds from Camden tube station.
Our flag proudly adorning the front of the building, you can’t miss it. Greeted with a smile, the lovely staff are friendly and helpful. A mix of well-known DJs and alternative, as well as classic, drag stars entertain us every week. This time round it was Princess Julia serenading us from the DJ booth. We like this venue a lot, it’s spacious and comfortable with great entertainment. We miss the Black Cap deeply and Camden lost part of its identity when it closed but we have great hope and think Bloc Bar has what it takes to fill the void.
