13/07/11: What better way to enjoy the cream of London’s cabaret and showbiz talent than whilst eating a beautiful three course meal and being waited on hand and foot by gorgeous waiters and waitresses that look like they have stepped out of the musical Chicago? If that sounds as good to you, and it does to us, you’ll be very pleased to hear about Cabaret Floridita which for the next five weeks is going to be giving you the opportunity to do just that. We decided to pop down there ourselves to check it out for you; kind-hearted souls that we are! On our visit we were treated to some of the country’s leading performers including: the sensational and cheeky Globe Girls – fresh from Cannes performing for Beyonce and with the Black Eyed Peas, star of ‘hairspray’ Sandra Marvin, ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Jersey Boys’ star Rachel Wooding, live burlesque from Tallulah Tempest and newest drag gal on the block, Mary Mac. With performances from 7.30pm ‘til midnight and a DJ continuing the party until 2am, this really is a night to remember. There’s a whole raft of talented, established, new and up-and-coming acts to savour over the next few weeks, it’s free to get in and a three-course dinner plus cabaret is just £30!
