18/09/12: It’s been a while since we ventured down to Candy Boys at Ku’s lady lovin’ sister venue, Candy Bar – and boy, were we in for a big surprise.
We’ll be honest, when we first heard that Ku’s head honcho Gary Henshaw was planning to make Candy Bar a ‘boys venue’ every Tuesday, often the quietest night of the homosexual week, we were a little sceptical, but here we are just a couple of years down the line and the night has become a fabulous hit for the Ku family.
The ever-gorgeous Vicki Vivacious was hostess, fast becoming an expert in her field, she poured shots for the punters and glammed it up around the bar, warming everyone up for the main event.
Yes, taking full advantage of the strippers licence, a hard-bodied hottie arrived to titillate the Tuesday night masses. Oiled-up and armed with little more than some foam and a smile, the grins on the Candy Boys were the biggest we’d seen all night, as everyone was more than willing to get up close and personal with this week’s slice of beefcake.
Add to that a hot, up-for-it-crowd dancing to some seriously sexy cuts until the early hours, you could be forgiven for thinking this was a Saturday night rather than GayTown’s supposedly sleepy evening. If Tuesday nights at Candy Boys are always this good, we’ll be calling in sick to work on Wednesday more often!
