CIRCA CHRISTMAS PARTY
Posted on January 4, 2012
22/12/11: In a year that saw her grandson’s Royal Wedding, and just before the same lady celebrates her diamond jubilee, we rocked up to another old queens party at the beginning of the festive period, as Alan Winter threw a camp Circa Christmas.
With just a few ghosts of Christmases past knocking around, and going all out on the log cabin décor, there was a real (hot) Santa in red pants to grant good boys and girls their seasonal wishes – turns out we’d been very naughty indeed!
There were also tinseled tunes from brandy soaked DJs Munroe Bergdorf and Adam Turner (nice set of baubles). Behind the bar, Santa’s little elves were given a festive hand (I was gonna say festive fist but that just didn’t sound right) from Ms Winter’s husband Harry and the packed bar was seen plucking branches from the ceiling to wear as antlers and snogging under mistletoe.
What a perfect Xmas opener!
