17/10/13: It’s never been said that we here at QX Towers are classy birds, but that doesn’t stop us trying to better ourselves and be a bit more Made In Chelsea and a bit less TOWIE.
To that end we popped along to Comptons last Thursday for the launch night of the super classy, and super camp, Around the Candelabra.
Tinkling the ivories of the baby grand, Lee Reed was taking requests and delving deep in to his repertoire to satisfy a cultured audience, although the person who requested ‘My Old Man Said Follow The Van’ was the recipient of a few withering glares from the fox-fur and ermine corner!
There was more class (with ass) as cocktails were shaken by the handsome bow-tied waiters and delivered to tables while guv’nor Neil was the perfect reincarnation of Liberace himself.
If you fancy a bit of ‘All That Jazz’ then I’m sure ‘we’ll meet again’ every Thursday Around The Candelabra.
