EDGE: PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

29/10/11: An exhaustingly busy mince around Soho’s scary Saturday night shenanigans saw us make our final stop of the eve at Edge – and what a fucking party!

The guys and ghouls at Edge Towers had outdone themselves in decoration and party favours, with a plethora of fabulous little touches that made their Halloween bash pop more satisfyingly than “accidentally” bursting a child’s balloon with your lit cigarette… or is that just me?

The bar boys rocked some fiendishly good costumes, and the mixed crowd were superbly dolled up in outfits that went way beyond a bit of white face paint from Angel’s costume store. This was one of the best fancy dress contests we’d seen all night.

The atmosphere was fantastic as we sampled some smoking witches brew cocktails handed to us by some scantily clad, sexually ambiguous gogo boys. Even the management team picked out the bloody shirts of some slaughtered former workers and got into the All Hallows Eve spirit.

The music from spinnin’ fitster Zach Burns was on point, and we didn’t even get a chance to catch the screenings of Paranormal Activity 1 and 2, largely because I was too busy drunkenly lolling around like an extra from Shaun of the Dead (Thanks Chadalena) and nestling my head in Felicia Van Cartier’s ample bosom.

Well done to everyone involved, a fantastic night.
