Goodbye Mr Producer

25/03/18: The cabaret community gathered in the backroom of the Two Brewers on Sunday to remember Mr Producer himself, Spike Rhodes, who sadly passed away earlier this month. As leader of the theatre troupe Drama Queens, he had a lasting impact on a large number of the queens and comedians who work the stages of the scene every week, with many of them performing on the night. A few musical numbers got a run through, including Cell Block Tango, and there were cackle-inciting turns from Dave Lynn, Myra Dubois, Mrs Moore, amongst others. It was a fitting tribute to an icon who will long be cherished by all who worked with him.
