Halfway 2 Heaven – Saturday 22nd April, 2017
Halfway was characteristically raucous on Saturday night, and y’know what, that’s exactly how we like our gay pubs; raucous, rambunctious and RAVISHING. Speaking of ravishing (or perhaps, ravenous) the dynamic duo CK were on hand in glittering ballgowns to lend a sense of Tanya Turner chicery to proceedings. Pointing and yelling! We love that too! We love raucous pubs, and we love drag queens who point. Remember your mum used to tell you it’s rude to point? Well it is. And that’s why it’s so HILARIOUS. Thanks Halfway, a camp night had by all! Afterwards we stumbled down to that Tesco by Trafalgar Square and drunkenly devoured not one, not two, but THREE sausage rolls.
