JIMMY & CLIFF’S BROKEBACK BIRTHDAYS

20/09/13: Friday night saw us head down Clapham way to the Two Brewers where, expertly herded by head cow girl Titti La Camp, a smorgasbord of cabaret delights were served up for the delectation of the accumulated mass of checked shirt wearing Butch Cassidys and yee haring Tammy Wynettes.

To celebrate the birthdays of guv’nor Jimmy, Craig and Richard, Sandra, the Frisian whore of Hampstead, opened the show before handing over to the original Lone Ranger and Tonto CK and dashing off to another engagement. Next up Titti worked 9-5 and was Wicked, and Miss Rose Garden (less Pocahontas more Poke-her-harder) shimmied in her finest Jolene drag.

The fabulous Martha d’Arthur, winner of Drag Idol 2013, took a leaf from Sandra’s book of ‘How To Get A Shag’ and plucked and stripped the delicious Samuel from the audience before snogging his face off – lucky girl – and the finale was provided by the amazing Roxy C. Moorecox visiting from North Carolina whose Adele has to be seen to be believed.

After a truly fabulous night of cabaret with Little John on the decks we all piled in to the club bar where the Sharp Boys kept us dancing till the wee hours. It’s clearly all happening in Clapham!
