23/09/12: The air was full of wilkommens and bienvenues at the Two Brewers on Sunday as guv’nor Jimmy Smith welcomed friends and regulars to an evening of cabaret for his birthday.
Sharing the event with friends Richard and Craig, we were treated to the London Gay Big Band, Kandi Kane Baxter and Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild, aka CK, during the first part of the evening. After a brief interval where champagne was consumed and cakes presented, Titti La Camp drank lager, choked on Slim Fast, levitated a broomstick and scaled a precarious ladder whilst wrestling giant wooden wings, and Sandra was, well, Sandra! A brilliant night of friends, performers and bubbles!
