18/04/15: There are two blatant facts about summer that everyone (or at least, every gay) knows. The first is that as soon as the sun comes out to play, so do the boys. Secondly, it’s all about getting pissed al fresco. And both of these are demonstrated fabulously by Soho favourite Ku Bar.
So like, why you gonna be chugging down Lambrini in your local park when you can be sipping Cosmos at Ku? We’re only ‘bout one type of grass stain and it don’t come from picnicking. Besides, you can avoid all those screaming children, dog turds and weeing in bushes too.
Honestly, we ain’t bout that park life. Especially not when we can be served a proper drink by buff bar boys, have a little cocktail and cocktalk with host Nieko and, obviously, flirting with a sexy stranger.
Of course, the gold-chained chavs have a certain appeal but when you’re sparko on the night bus you know he’s taking your wallet. No man we’ve gone home with from Ku has ever done that… yet. Cheers to more daylight drinking!
