07/06/13: “It’s Friday, it’s Friday…” Just kiddin’, the day you hear us singing along to that will be the day you see us playing catch with a ball made of rusty razor blades.
Nevertheless, it was the end of the working week and with the sun showing its face for the remaining few hours, it would have been totally rude if we didn’t say thank you by going out and getting blitzed (our new slang for ‘drunk’). And where better to head than the three floors of tasty talent that is Ku Bar.
Visiting Ku is often like getting a man in the bedroom; you start at the top and work your way down. We chilled out upstairs for some cocktail and cocktalk, before salontro’ing down to the middle bar for a little flirtation; batting our eyelids like an Essex girl with too many lashes on.
Downstairs DJs Doug and Alvaro were as easy on the eyes as they were on the ears and had the boys ‘hair whipping’ aplenty. And while we were too busy slurring to be slut-dropping, there’s no denying it was another good night at Ku.
