It happens every year and this time the KU bar staff decided to go APE! Doing it the only way the KU clan can, Gary Henshaw hired out an open top double decker to ferry the 50 strong staff to a jungle in the country.
Everyone was hyped up and kitted out, some in camo gear and face paint to match, these gays and lesbians were going to war, in the campest sense, of course! The journey there was an adventure in itself, with dance music blaring out and the hot boys and girls of KU shaking their fine asses on the open top deck!
Once there, we all got into our respective harnesses (imagine The Hoist in Vauxhall) and started to climb our way up the trees ready to swing through the wilderness, there were screams and laughter, with most of the screams coming from Gary and Michele.
We had a big feast of food from around the world and games that got everybody close and intimate. Truly a day to remember, thank you, Gary! Let’s do it all again next year.
