01/12/14: We had an absolute ball at Ku Bar last year over World AIDS Day, and why break a tradition that works so well? Each year, Ku Bar decorates the bar with red balloons in support and auctions off its sexy bar boys for dates, to raise money for The Food Chain charity; who makes sure that people living with HIV have the nutrition to get and stay well.
Although some bidders clearly wanted more than just a date. Erm, it’s not that kind of auction babes. And it appears that every year the experiences and prizes up for grabs get increasingly more appealing. Whether you fancied sipping SKYY cocktails at the top of the Shard, lunch at the Ritz or just wanted to buy us that Cartier hamper for Christmas – they had it on their list!
Having raised over £60,000 over the seven years we raise a glass (or three) to Ku Bar. Although where have all these men and their big wallets been hiding all these years we’ve been on the scene?!
