KU BRITANNIA

21/04/11: There was a distinct whiff of trashbaggery in the air across gayland this Easter weekend. Some spectacularly summerish weather, plus the prospect of four days off work, meant the short shorts were shorter than ever – and the booze was flowing faster than the blood of our lord and saviour, the Easter Bunny, who sacrificed himself so as we don’t have to pay full entry into Cadbury’s world. But we ask you, where better to start the long weekend than with top drawer totty at our beloved Ku Bar. Ku are going hard into the royal wedding frenzy with a whole fortnight of regal-themed shenanigans in Ku Britannia. To kick off proceedings tonight, amongst the bunting and Union Jack flags, the duchess of DJing Tasty Tim rocked up to spin some distinctly British sounds to the pert party poppers in Ku’s fun-packed basement. But c’mon guys, call me a rancid old pervert (and many have), we expected the gorgeous bar boys to be wearing nothing but a Kate & Wills souvenir handkerchief around the gusset. We need LESS clothing as the week goes on please!

Don’t miss all the Bank Holiday fun this coming weekend, as Ku Lisle Street hosts a good, old-fashioned street party with a distinctly queer twist – featuring her royal highness Dame Vesta Bules. As for me? Well, I may not have been to church this Easter but some geezer on the street gave me a strange little tab of paper that he promises will help me talk to Jesus…
