07/09/13: La Voix, last year’s brilliant winner of Drag Idol, returned to the Two Brewers last Saturday with a totally different performance.
The powerhouse vocals were still there but this time we saw a slightly darker La Voix as she stripped and teased even donning corset and whip for a dominatrix scene. Surrounded by her Va Va Voom boys we were given classy shirts and ties for the first number before they stripped down revealing something for everyone…
Furry, muscled and tattooed Matthew, smooth, blond and perky Shaun (with a bubble butt to die for) and ripped, tattooed and über sexy Neil. There were metallic coloured spray-on shorts, giant winged capes, jockstraps and leather blindfolds – all the ingredients for a visual smörgåsbord – but the main course was still the fabulous talents of La Voix as she belted out Madonna, Cher, Cole Porter and an amazing Defying Gravity from Wicked. Five stars and worthy of a West End transfer.
