12/07/13: There’s always an excuse to go bar hoppin’ through Soho with something to celebrate. This week it was the fact that we’d become an official degree holder (although for some reason, none the wiser). To celebrate, we decided to pop in and give the friendly folk at Manbar a visit.
The smoking area – that is perfect for people watching along Charing Cross road – was busy as usual. What with men coming straight from the park, the office (and one patron possibly from a BDSM club – you know, some people just have that look). So we dodged the dodgy tash and headed for their cocktail bar upstairs, just right for a Cosmo and a catch-up.
The Long Island Iced teas went down a treat alongside the beats of the DJ who played to a peaceful, attitude-free crowd. And while it’s been said that the cocktails went down well, they must have been strong, because so did we… And by that we mean falling out of our taxi to the pavement – not the other kind of going down. We’ll be back for more drinks this week!
