30/09/13: Now under new gay ownership and management, ManBar on Charing Cross Road is going through a few changes so we popped along last Friday to make sure we weren’t missing out!
With new brighter decor, new art on the walls (don’t worry, shirtless Harry is still there!) and a new music policy of commercial remixes, it now has a much more international dance vibe to it. Hot gogo boys jangle their wares at eye level to a packed crowd of hotties watched over by the lovely Hazel on the door, and with two bars and a late license till 3am you’re never waiting long for your favourite tipple.
The outside terrace is perfect for these warm summer evenings and the upstairs balcony affords the perfect vantage point to browse the crowd or escape with your beau for some quiet time. Hot punters, hot staff, hot music and hot drinks offers… What’s not to love?
