24/09/17: The normally refined Thai restaurant Mango Tree (just a spring roll’s throw from the gardens of Buckingham Palace) let loose on Sunday for this year’s Miss Mango Tree Ladyboy contest! It was a colourful night of inter-galactic glamour and gorgey Thai canapés, with contestants flying in from all over to compete for the coveted title. The beautiful Alessandra Mei strutted away with the title after a fierce showing in the costume and swimwear rounds, clearly making an impact with the judges Gok Wan, Simon Gross, and Kat Kasisopa. Congratulations Allessandra!
