ON THE EDGE OF TWENTY-ONE

Back in the day, they (whoever they are) used to say you received the “key of the door” when you turned 21. Then they would sing a little ditty about it to you as you died of embarrassment in front of all your friends and family. Whilst we have no idea what that means, we do know that The Edge on Soho Square certainly has the key to a successful bar! They celebrate 21 years lubricating Soho this weekend, and we salute the Soho stalwart… “And to many mooooooore!”

If you find yourself a solo Soho starlet this Valentine’s weekend, don’t stay in and mope. Head down to The Edge and help them celebrate 21 years of pissed up, party-lovin’ gayers.

Starting on Thursday 14th with a very special members and guests drinks reception in their Paparazzi bar, it’s sponsored by Mahou and Smirnoff with plenty of delicious, complimentary cocktails and freebies!

On Friday 15th, they mix things up a bit when Saturday night resident, the luscious Zach Burns, pops in for a Friday night of uplifting vocal house music, accompanied by MC legend Tonnic and their stunning dancers.

Saturday 16th February marks the actual 21st birthday with a party dedicated to you, the loyal customers. Expect storming back-to-back sets from Doug Silva and Chris Brogan, serving up a night of classic and uplifting house spanning the Edge’s entire 21 years.

Hosted by the delicious Felicia Van Cartier and not forgetting a raft of beautiful gogo boys, you can expect loads of freebies on the night, plus a CD with 2 mixes from Zach Burns and Chris Brogan.

Edge Towers Head Honcho Andy Jones and Group Operations Manager Chad Sheldon wax lyrical about The Edge…

Andy Jones

“It’s been an incredible year for us. We have a few more tricks up our sleeves in the coming weeks with a freshen up of the lower two floors and a few other surprises on the way.”

Chad Sheldon

“21 Years… does that mean we are finally grown up?  Actually, it’s not far off the number of years I’ve been alive…ahem…  Nonetheless, the past year has been amazing for us, thanks to everyone that has been part of it!”

• The Edge is open until very late this and every weekend, with free entry before 10pm and 2-4-1 drink wristbands available from sister venue The Yard.  Last admission is 1am. 11 Soho Square W1D 3QE.
