01/09/11: In a world where we are increasingly carrying out our lives virtually, every so often an event pops up on our radar that encourages us to go out, mingle and swap numbers, and so last Thursday we rocked up to see those lovely boys and girls from Outlet, Soho’s hottest lettings agency, at their Flat Dating party.
Basically, they filled the Yard’s Loft bar with home-owners and wannabe tenants and no one was allowed out until they had somewhere to sleep… be it for the long term or even just the one night!
Employing loads of modern tech to make house hunting fun and easy, there was on the spot tweeting with their own hashtag #OutletFlatDating, easy QR codes for swapping details and glasses of wonderful free Barefoot Wine to help the evening flow.
We were particularly drawn to the lovely Claudio with his red ‘I Need A Home’ sticker but sadly I think he ended up with a lesbian from Hackney, hey ho. Outlet Flat dating is the first Thursday of every month at The Yard.
