31/12/11: Across the world, I and everyone else were preparing for the New Year in style.

And one place defines that word is Profile bar and its basement club, Lo-Profile, in the heart of Soho. The gays and their homo-friendly straight mates gathered, toasting their drinks and hugging their friends as DJ Nick Evans had us dancing like New Year’s tits.

And downstairs in the club, the real celebrations began. “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…” we all chanted and as the clock struck midnight, we were covered in beautiful multi-colored confetti and surrounded by topless hunks snogging each other.  (I promise, I didn’t perv).

The champagne was out and before long, the dancefloor was PACKED! DJ Nathan Six and Steve Artis spun the perfect house tunes keeping us dancing until the early hours of the morning. The atmosphere was electric, Profile and Lo-Profile really are one of the best venues in Soho.

With the most gorgeous and friendly bar staff, small private tables branching off from the dance floor, amazing laser lights and top security, I always find myself having a blast no matter the occasion. Not to mention the amount of drink tickets I am given.  Now, how will we climb up the stairs in this state?
