Quebec

13/12/15: We return to the brand spanking new City of Quebec after its stylish makeover for a night with the fabulously talented Nicolette Street.

Between pints and cocktails served by delightfully handsome barmen, the audience got to choose tracks which were old and new, fast or slow, including tremendous covers of Annie Lennox, Adele, and following a brief iPad failure, a jaw-dropping a cappella rendition of Over the Rainbow which sent goosebumps up and down the bar.

What began as quiet tipple was a roaring full house before the end of the show, with a friendly mixed crowd of the Quebec’s usual senior clientele, as well as many new young’ns and a few gems who had wandered in from Winter Wonderland and quite rightly decided to stay.

With a new roster and new space for new acts, if you’re missing the new City of Quebec, you’re missing out.
