04/09/11: It’s been ages since we sashayed over to the legendary Old Compton Street drinking den that is the Admiral Duncan, but once we heard about their Sunday night shenanigans, we couldn’t resist.
Rock ‘n’ Roll bingo is a fab and lively end-of-the-weekend treat – if you’re expecting an evening that your Nan and her Stannah Stairlift ridin’, shopping trolley pullin’ friends would love then wipe those pre-conceptions from your brain! Frankie Fantastique is your glamorous hostess/ball cruncher – we bet she’s crunched a few in her time. A pure ball of energy, she knows how to get the crowd going whilst knocking back a pink drink or six. Literally a fantastique evening… now did we see a green gimp or did we have one too many ‘Duncan double measures?
