Rupert Street

14/03/14: Being that we had Irish in our blood, it only made sense that we kicked off the Paddy’s weekend early.

And we weren’t alone, we turned up to Rupert St. not only armed with our team of South London’s most professional drinkers, but to find that the sorts of Soho were also out in full force.

And a quick post-work pre-weekend drink soon escalated into countless shots at the bar while DJ Ariel pumped out his own spin (pun intended) on some commercial classics – the perfect compliment for half a dozen ciders.

And you know you’re getting in the mood for the weekend when you’re dragging strangers outside for shameless flirting and draping yourself over them like one of Ugly Betty’s ponchos; definitely not this season’s hottest look. So what did we learn from our Friday night antics?

Well, firstly, there’s not really such thing as “one” drink (as if we didn’t know that already). And secondly, pink sambucca and pink cider will leave you pink faced in the morning – but at least we woke up in our own bed.
