TED’S PLACE CHRISTMAS PARTY
Posted on January 4, 2012
15/12/01: Ted’s is famous – or some would say ‘’infamous’!
December saw 180 fans, friends and family pack the venue out for the annual Christmas Ball. The evening started off well with the more laid back hunky gay guys that frequent Ted’s getting in the Crimbo mood.
As the evening went on tantalizing trannies in all their glitter and finery swept in and the party really started. Ted, the owner of the bar, was quite touched telling me that people had really made the effort and he was seeing faces that he had not seen in ages – some almost 20 years – pop in.
With a wonderful buffet as catered by Roy Nunn no one went hungry and the festive morsels were quickly consumed. Fun, frolics and general festivity was had by all. Ted’s does have a uniqueness about it, and there is always a great atmosphere to be found at the club.
Ted’s is now the only gay watering hole in the Earls Court and Fulham area of London, and long may it continue to thrive and support one of the most diverse LGBT scenes in the world.
