05/10/18: The Cock Tavern is one of our new faves! It’s a much needed new casual pub-style gay venue down in Kennington. It was a weird phenomenon of that area that SO MANY GAYS live there but there was no gay pub. Well that is no longer the case. The Cock has come crashing in, in a shower of camp and debauchery. *Danny Dyer accent* gawjus! Last Friday night, there were canapes, drag and a lovely, chatty crowd. We’ve noticed people are talking to each other a bit more these days, which is great. The canapes were slider burgers (obvs) as well as something delicious and chickeny. And the drag was Herr, one of the most exciting rising stars on the cabaret circuit right now. Well done The Cock Tavern, 10 points to Ravenclaw!
