14/02/15: The QX cupids hit town last Saturday as the Edge celebrated its 23rd birthday with a storming two-day Valentine’s and birthday bash.
Looming like a beacon in the heart of the West End, it’s not hard to see why this London landmark is still a popular party destination after almost two and a half decades on the scene – and no wonder either that the crowds keep flocking back for more.
Starting with sophisticated shenanigans at ground level, we joined in the proceedings as a throng of hot young things rolled through the door for Champers and cocktails. Moving on and the Valentine’s vibe was in evidence for cosy and intimate interaction on the first floor, as dishy dudes got friendly amidst the banquettes and comfy cushions.
Upstairs, the birthday atmosphere took flight for a non-stop barrage of anniversary R&B and pop hits at the decks, courtesy of DJ Glen John, with even more to come from scene star Aamyko.
Back on the ground floor and the gorgeous bar dudes had their work cut out as exuberant thrill seekers ramped up the ambience, with the night still young and hours more fun to be had right through to 3am. Here’s to another great year at The Edge in 2015!
