EDGE

30/06/12: “So who needs sleep”, is what your rancid old boot of a reviewer slurred to anyone who would listen last weekend.

Swinging her handbag round Soho and singing Ace of Base’s ‘Always 21’ in her head (despite the fact the theme should have actually been ‘One Foot in the Grave’) we headed to the place that’s fast becoming one of our favourite weekend haunts. Yes, The Edge and its never-ending multi levels of hotness, hilarity and house tuneage lived up to all its recent promises of late night dancing and trashbaggery with an epic Saturday sashay of Soho-based hotness.

DJ Zach Burns spat out the tunes with his usual heroic flair, veering from commercial to chunkier sounds and back again, as an energetic crowd of beautiful batty bois and booty-bumpin bitches rolled around their four floored playroom like drunken toddlers. Of course, things became a little more sophisticated and serene the further north you got, as the upstairs spaces are perfect for a more chilled out natter.

They’re also perfect for party reservations – I’m actually having a gathering there myself next month! No charge to hire and you’ll be treated like the queens you are. There’s also some great offers throughout the next two months including free buckets of mini champagne! That’s if manageress Chadalina hasn’t already had her snout in the booze bin. Bravo Edge, keep it up!
