29/07/12: Sunday’s weather was about as stable as Courtney Love, with short but heavy rain showers dotting the otherwise hot sunny sky.
However, it didn’t stop the Two Brewers throwing their picnic with Pride for the Clapham queers to enjoy a cucumber sandwich and spot of tea (I mean vodka) on the grass. The picnic princess was none other than Sandra, who later led us back to the stage upon which she reigns, to enjoy the Two Brewers’ Sunday night cabaret show.
We loved the comedy and camp from Mrs. Moore, The Drag Divas, Miss Jason and Sandra herself, then later in the night trusty DJ Demon got us on the dance floor with the latest chart hits.
Not only did we leave with a fuzzy head, we also left with a fuzzy feeling, knowing that some of the money we’d spent was being donated by the Two Brewers to the gay men’s health charity, GMFA.
