14/01/13: Now in its fourth year, Glam Jam – A West End Show continues to go from strength to strength with its unconventional and flamboyant formula, and this week we were pleased to attend the launch of their new Monday residency at North London’s spiritual home of drag, the Black Cap.

14/07/12: If awards were handed out for being a show stopping, booty-popping glamour queen, it would be easy to say that Laquisha Jonz could win the gold medal blindfolded. 

Last weekend’s Semi Finals of Drag Idol proved to be even more entertaining and dramatic than anticipated, with two semis spread over two nights at the Black Cap and Halfway II Heaven.

27/11/11: On a freezing Sunday evening, whilst most of us are sipping a warm hot chocolate by the blazing fire, QX rocked down to Camden Town to do what we do best!

25/09/11: North London’s iconic cabaret bar, The Black Cap, has had many a drag legend grace the stage, so I was super-excited to be there last Sunday to see another drag legend, the ‘Brighton belle’ herself, Lola Lasagne, tear up the stage.

24/02/11: Not since Charles tied the knot with Di have we seen hype like that surrounding Will and Kate’s wedding.

22/10/10: You know what’s great about the Black Cap? One of the things is the fact downstairs is so long, so you can throw open the doors, strut and sashay to the bar - or right down to the dancefloor if you’re a real attention seeker!

20/09/10: QX gave the complimentary canapés a wide berth for an exclusive press and VIP performance of The Drama Queens’ take on Sondheim’s Broadway classic at the Black Cap earlier this week.
