19/04/12: One might be forgiven for thinking Thursday nights at Central watering hole and age-old scene institution, City of Quebec, would be like stepping into the Thatcherite era – all power suits, conservative leather shoes and silver comb-overs.

17/10/11: For QX it’s always somewhat refreshing to step into a venue where your level of attractiveness isn’t judged according to how closely you resemble a Jack Wills model or, after a decent meal, whether you could squeeze into a pair of waist 28” denim hot pants.

16/01/11: With miserable drizzly weather and no Central Line, the gods were certainly conspiring against us on Sunday night as we tried to get to the Quebec, but not easily dissuaded, we negotiated public transport and arrived just in time for the divine Lady la Rue.
