08/05/15: The week after a bank holiday is generally a lull period in clubland, but over in Vauxhall Friday at A:M was scorching!
Chris Brogan was showing his Pride (A Deeper Love) in the House room while two hot boys made out on the dance floor, and next door Severino was serving Turbocharged realness with house that was so deep it was almost subterranean! As for the crowd, well to quote ‘The Party’ by Eddie Martinez feat Josephine Halle B, “That’s what you’re serving? Everyone’s here tonight. Daddies, twinks, the muscles, the cunts, drags. Everyone’s FIERCE!” And just when it couldn’t get any better, The Heron popped his head through the door to take control. Just as I was getting ready to leave, and again quoting ‘The Party’, Lee Harris slipped off his headphones, turned to me and, in a routine worthy of RuPaul’s Drag Race, lip synched, “Girl, get yourself together”, and gave a flick of his heel. #ButchQueen
