As One

04/04/14: Bank Holiday weekends are to hedonistic gay clubbers, what Hanukkah is to the Jewish, or Christmas is to the Christians; i.e. the holy grail in their social calendar.

That one extra day off work means they can go all out on the Sunday without having to call in sick from some random party on the Monday morning. And this time As One were pulling out all the stops with an International Edition of their party; one complex, over a dozen brands and a whole load of global DJs.

As we arrived, Fire had more gay men inside it than Cher’s phonebook, and what with WE Party taking over the main room with DJs D’Johnny, Steve Pitron, Manuel De Diego serving some of the best mixes we’ve heard since our last summer in ‘Beefa, we were ready to dive into that sea of slippery sexy sluts.

The main room later transformed into Circuit with DJs Fabio Luigi and Lydia Sanz on the decks.

Fat Tony was in the mirror arch representing Orange, while Maze&Masters represented Gravity (and did us proud) with quality sets that showed the world how London does it *dusts off shoulders*.

With the atmosphere buzzing and more types of house music than you have dance moves; we were forced to throw out shapes we didn’t even know existed. But it wasn’t all house music, Trannyshack had one of the cosier archways where pop lovers were giving even the biggest drag divas a run for their money.

So, an amazing night with sounds from plenty of huge global talent, and we burned a crap load of calories! OK, yeah we can see why it’s the holy grail. But please, don’t wake us up ‘til Friday… or, the next Bank Holiday.
