16/09/17: Athena, at super duper Vauxhall venue Eagle, is always a right laugh! This time around, it gave a big eighties bitchslap of gorgeousness to our increasingly dreary September nights. Resident DJs Paul Joseph and Gareth Hackney were on hand to give the punters sassy shoulderpad-shaking pop, disco, electronica and more. Debbie Harry wasn’t there (as far as we know) but if she HAD been there, she’d have loved it! We did a shot of something very bright blue, and then fell over. A perfect Saturday night.
